Ajay Srivistav is a blues musician whose music, reflecting the lessons learned as a British-born artist of Indian heritage, has brought him to the fore in recent years. His unique rootsy guitar style is layered with inflections of sitar and sarod and shows the ability to merge scales and techniques from classical Indian music with Delta blues slide playing.
Both his albums, Karmic Blues (2019) and Powerless (2021) topped the Amazon Blues Chart and received a host of award nominations. Ajay is accompanied by renowned tabla player, Vinod Kerai.
